Jessamy Pollock is an emerging jeweller based in Adelaide. Her practice incorporates her interest in architecture by exploring the design concepts of Daniel Libeskind, Peter Davidson and Donald Bates. She also finds her visual inspiration in patterns and repetition found in both the natural and built world. “My aim is to incorporate all functional elements within my designs to ensure each work forms independence as a sculptural object from its function as a piece of jewellery.”

Jessamy Pollock completed a Bachelor of Arts (Jewellery) through Charles Sturt University in 2009, before moving to Adelaide to take an associate position in the Metal Design Studio at the Jam Factory in 2010. She completed a Masters of Arts Practice in Jewellery Design and Manufacture also through Charles Sturt University. In 2014, she was a finalist in the National Contemporary Jewellery Award and in 2013 was awarded the Gold and Silversmiths’ Guild of Australia award in the Contemporary Australian Silver and Metalwork awards.
